The College of Dentistry University of Basrah secured the seventh placement according to the announced results of the of the Quality Assurance Department located within the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Facility in the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation section.
The evaluation included evaluating the institutional performance, the effectiveness of the scientific research, the proficiency of the services provided to the community, enlarging resources, the academic teaching personnel, students and the international variation.
Meanwhile, Assistant. Professor Dr. Fateh Al-Khakani, Dean of the College of Dentistry, had this to say in this regard "in the upcoming years, we intend to have our College ascend to higher placements through continuously enhancing the College's programs, efficiency in serving the community and matching its results with the global developments."
Dr. Fateh added that the College's academic teaching personnel is on a high level of scientific competence and has many participations in regional, Arabic and global conferences and posses many studies and credible researches in global scientific magazines while continuing to stay informed with the latest scientific developments.
