The lecture was given by the teacher, Abdul Karim Salman Al-Tadrisi at the College of Nursing, in which he mentioned that blood pressure and diabetes have become common societal diseases and it is necessary to know how to use measuring devices, especially as they have become available and accessible to everyone. Also, during the lecture, a practical application of measuring devices took place, as the six Zahra Abbas introduced to the pressure measuring devices and ways to use them in the correct manner and provided basic medical information on blood pressure. As for the six, Saja Karim, she talked about how to use a glucose meter and how to position the body for the correct reading. And M.D. Wasfi Zahir Abdali, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, such scientific lectures aim to increase health awareness among students and community members. |
