A study at the University of Basra prepared by Dr. Sabeeh Nouri Khalaf from history department and researcher Majid Hayab examined “Mosques in Mesopotamia from the Islamic Conquest until” the year (617 AH / 1220 AD)
The study, which was published in the journal PALARCH, which is classified within Scopus containers, showed the mosques of Transoxiana, the history of their construction and their developments through Islam.
