The service cadres at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah started preparing the lands of the gardens in the college in preparation for planting them.
the administrative assistant, Prof. Dr. Daoud Gloub Hillel said: The service personnel worked on the reclamation and fertilization of lands in addition to drainage operations for the soil through the use of puncture methods that allow washing the soil through a high technology to get rid of salts that prevent the growth of plants.
Hillel added: With this step, we are trying to provide a suitable atmosphere for our students, teaching and professional cadres, as well as preparing gardens on an ongoing basis.
