College of Nursing Announcements Alaa Al-Husseini / Treasures Ali I discussed a PhD thesis for the student Hanin Sabah Abdul-Samad, teaching at the College of Nursing, University of Basra. The thesis included addressing the interest in the effective role of the virulence factor, the toxic protein produced by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, and its immunological effect on respiratory diseases (asthma, tonsillitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), as it was observed that the increase of neutrophil cells and the receptor of glycoprotein, as well as an increase in the level of concentration of antibodies and As a chemical attractant to it with an increase in the concentration level with the presence of previous indications of infection with bacterial toxins. The thesis concluded that asthmatic patients were affected by the immune changes accompanying the disease or microbial infection in comparison with tonsillitis patients, the high level of antibody concentrations in all diseased cases, the most affected by asthmatic patients, the increase in the flow of neutrophil cells and their expression, and their expression by an increase in complement and receptor proteins and interleukin, the increase in antibodies. |
