College of Nursing Announcements Alaa Al-Husseini / Treasures Ali With personal follow-up from Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Mousawi, Dean of the College of Nursing at Basra University, our college organized a field visit to Al-Rashad Training Hospital for Psychiatric and Mental Illnesses in Baghdad Governorate and under the supervision of the teacher Afkar Fadel Karim and Dr. Firas Abdul-Qadir and accompanied by students of the fourth stage of morning and evening studies. The visit aimed to develop the students’ skills and experiences during the health assessment of patients and how to develop communication skills during the clinical assessment of the health status of patients. At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation and students expressed their thanks and appreciation to the hospital administration and the medical and nursing staff for their tireless efforts in providing medical and nursing care to patients. For his part, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Moussawi, Dean of the College, stressed that these visits are among the important steps to enhance cooperation between the college and health institutions and all state departments and to enhance cooperation between them. |
