A discussion session was held at the College of Nursing at the University of Basra under the title ((Foodborne Diseases)) and the researcher (M.D. Zainab Allak Hassan) delivered the lecture in which she stated that foodborne diseases are produced through spoiled or contaminated food with pathogenic bacteria, viruses and parasites, in addition to mycotoxins. The main goal of the lecture is to know the causes, methods of prevention, and correct methods of preserving foods in refrigerators. The researcher recommended that the products should be preserved in healthy ways by freezing for a not long time. A number of the faculty teachers participated in the discussion. |
