A research team from the University of Basrah obtained the third patent regarding confronting the Coronavirus, which is the Production of the first kit to isolate the coronavirus by urine and stool and extract its RNA. Among the research team is the chancellor of Basrah University, Prof.Dr. Saad Shaheen, the Dean of Al-zahraa college of medicine, Prof.Dr. Mazen Hawaz, and the Head of the Microbiology department at Al-zahraa College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein K. Abdul-Sada.
