In a democratic practice, elections were held in the College of Nursing at the University of Basra from Thursday 24/3/2022, elections for the representative of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate / Basra Branch for the purpose of elections for the representative of the faculty in the college. In the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Musawi, Dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, and under the supervision of the members of the Syndicate Council and the supervisors of the elections, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rashed and the teacher Haider Al-Daghlawi. Where the elections were held with high transparency and ended with the recommendation of Professor Dr. Mahfouz Faleh Hassan by the Dean of the College as a representative of the College in the Syndicate of Academics. The faculty members congratulated him for assuming the tasks of representing the faculty’s teachers in the Syndicate and wished him to be at their good expectations and to be the legitimate lawyer for claiming and defending the rights of faculty in the college. The work of the union aims to improve the profession of teachers in higher education and scientific research to achieve their mission in the service of the country and the generations of the nation. For his part, Prof. Dr. Mahfouz Faleh Hassan spoke that he would be a support and aid for all the faculty's teachers and a demand for their rights before the Syndicate. He thanked and expressed his gratitude to them for their high confidence and representative. |
