Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of Basra University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Moussawi, Dean of the College of Nursing, University of Basra, The College of Nursing organized its annual festival to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the founding of the university. The festival included artistic activities and a book fair, in addition to holding a graduation ceremony for its students and taking graduation photos for fourth-year students. The ceremony was inaugurated by the teacher, Dr. Hisham Hussein Abdel Raouf, the assistant dean for administrative affairs, the teacher, Dr. Adel Ali Hussein, the assistant dean for scientific affairs, and members of the college council with a number of teachers, staff and students. The students also participated in setting up an exhibition of photographs and another for painting, during which the students displayed beautiful paintings and drawings, followed by various student activities, expressing their happiness to belong to this generous university. In conclusion, the organizers of the festival wished all success to our glue university and our dear college in the service of our beloved sight and our Iraq, the Iraq of civilizations. |
