On Monday, 11 April 2022, the College of Dentistry University of Basrah conducted the unified electronic examination set by the Ministerial Team, the examination was also attended by all of governmental and private dental colleges in Iraq.
As the examination was set up for the dental prevention material with the participation of 139 students.
Furthermore, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant. Professor Dr. Fateh Al-Khakani, expressed that this examination is the very first for dental colleges preceded by a private trial examination which had another success in its own right.
Lecturer.Dr. Sundus Abdul Wadood, Dean's Assistant in Scientific Affairs, explained that the examination included all of the fifth-stage students numbering 139 student for the dental prevention material where the students participation in this examination reached an astounding 100% and there was no absence or errors during the examination.
Realizing the importance of quality development and quality improvement in the field of medical university education, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research conducted this trial examination, with the follow-up of the Electronic Supervision and Evaluation Committee, in cooperation with the deans of dental colleges in Iraq and the ministerial team, and under the direct supervision of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hamadi and The President's Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Zeki Abdullah Ahmed, the examination achieved the assessment with 100% success and positivity in line with the objectives of the assessment examination set by the Ministry.
The College of computer and Information Technology, represented by the Dean of the College, Prof. Salma Abdel-Baqi played the greatest role in creating the appropriate atmosphere for hosting and making the unified examination successful. The attendance of the medical group’s deans and staff and IT units had a positive impact on overcoming difficulties, avoiding previous mistakes, and benefiting from observations to raise the name of the University of Basrah and keep it in the lead.
