The Department of Performing Arts at the College of Fine Arts at Basra University held a lecture entitled Civil Society Service under the supervision of Prof. Hazem Abdul Majeed Ismail and m. Dr. Hala Hassan Sebti and a. Iqbal Jassim Jaafar hosted the lecture the volunteer team in Basriatha and the aim of the lecture is to introduce community service and volunteer work by independent teams and organizations whose aim is to provide services and help the community in all its groups. Volunteering and how to form service groups and cultivate the spirit of cooperation and spread this culture that many people need.
The lecture came out with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is that volunteer work is one of the work that improves societies and that youth are a basic building block in supporting and revitalizing volunteer work
