Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Moussawi, Dean of the College of Nursing at Basra University, an in-person course on first aid and the correct selection of injections for the faculty’s cadres, with the follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Sundus Baqir Daoud, head of the branch. Which was attended by all of M. M. Zainab Salman Dawood and m. M Saja Karim Jassim and m. M Khadija Muhammad Jassim and m. M Doaa Mohammed Baji and m. M Noha Saeed Kazem and m. M Alia Hussein Ali The course talked about the importance of first aid and how to use injections of all kinds for the injured, as it represents the assistance or treatment that is provided to a person who has suffered an injury or disease in a place where appropriate medical treatment is not available in order to preserve his life. The course aimed to increase the knowledge of the college staff about the use of injections, how to treat patients until they are delivered to the hospital, and to reduce the panic factor when these cases exist. For his part, Al-Moussawi said, these courses come within the program of the College of Nursing to provide support to this segment of society, in addition to the college's keenness to spread health awareness and training in first aid. |
