A delegation from the College of Nursing at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Anwar Ahl al-Bayt Foundation, peace be upon them, visited the Elderly Care House in Basra, which is affiliated with the Social Services Department, within the framework of the initiative to honor parents and raise awareness against Corona disease. The delegation was headed by the teacher, Dr. Afkar Fadel, a member of the teaching staff of the College of Nursing. Alaa Al-Rikabi, head of the Ahl Al-Bayt Foundation, peace be upon them, accompanied her, as they learned about the level of services provided to elderly men and women, and the health and social programs implemented by the Social Services Department in addition to health and social care services and physiotherapy sessions for the elderly.
