A teacher at Basra University participates in an international workshop and conference on Coronavirus
The lecturer in the College of Education for Human Sciences, Dr. Hussein Juban Oreibi, participated in the scientific workshop and the International Medical Research Conference entitled: “Intellectual Highlights for Dealing with the Corona Virus.” “Future Visions” ... which was organized by the London Center for Consulting and Research Social work in cooperation between the London Center for Research / Manchester and the London Center for Consulting and Social Research and the presidency of the Ababil Network for Media, Peace, Culture, Science and Global Relations, the Al-Shifa Medical Association / Chlef State and the Health Directorate in the Algerian state of Chlef ... for the period from 10 to 22 March 2020.
The scientific workshop and scientific conference are concerned with discussing the geographical, historical and medical dimensions of the emerging corona virus, its geographical distribution, ways to prevent it and reduce its effects and repercussions.
The participation of Dr. Hussein Juban Oribi Al-Maaradi aims to present a research that identifies the geographic factors that contribute to the spread of the Corona pandemic, the factors affecting its spatial and temporal patterns and its potential repercussions on the global economy.
The conference and workshop included some important axes that were represented by the historical, geographical, social and medical axis of the epidemic, and jointly with Professor Fahd Mizban Al-Jurani from the Basra and Arabian Gulf Studies Center, Basra University.
At the conclusion of the conference, the participants were given letters of thanks and certificates of appreciation from the presidency of the Ababil Network for Media, Peace, Culture, Science and Global Relations, as well as from the London Center for Consulting and Social Research. This participation is based on the pioneering role played by the University of Basra, College of Education for Human Sciences, in engaging university professors in Determine the patterns, distribution and impacts of this epidemic.
It is worth noting that the number of the participating "medical team" is (13) specialized doctors, and the number of the research team is "80" researchers, which included thirteen countries of the world; Algeria, France, Palestine, Iraq, Jordan, Australia, Lebanon, Morocco, the United States, and Britain.
