The medical group at University of Basrah continues its efforts to produce virus carrier media to detect the new Corona virus.Dr. Falah Hassan Shri said: Work is underway in the laboratories of the Faculty of Pharmacy in order to produce the medium transporting the coronavirus and send it to the public health laboratory at Basrah General Hospital; where recently (300) units of transporting medium, (2280) tubes to prepare the patient's sample and put it in the PCR and (1000) swab in order to take a swab of the nose and throat of the Corona VIruse infected with the virus were produced.Shri added: "Work continues with the efforts of the faculties of Basra University and its medical staff to work day and night to provide these materials until the end of the crisis, by God willing.
