The teaching of the College of Education for Humanities-Basra University-Department of Quran Sciences and Islamic Education (A.M. Mortada Jawad Awad) participated in the specialized session held at the Basra Heritage Center of the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs at the Abbasid Holy Shrine, which is related to the art of achieving manuscripts and indexing them .
The course included seven lectures with topics: (The rhythm of written copies, seals, footnotes, the introduction to the investigation, the planning of the written copies, the symbols of the written copies, and the evaluation of the written copies).
Among the most important things the course aimed at developing scientific capabilities among those interested in the manuscript heritage and achieving it from academic professors and students of science, and informing them of the scientific steps needed in this field.
