The lecturer in the Department of Performing Arts of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, the researcher, Dr. Hassan Abboud Al-Nakhila, participated in a symposium on (the response in the body on the colonial speech)
held by Maysan University in the College of Basic Education in Department of Artistic Education
The symposium included a paper presented by Al-Nakhila based on the dismantling of the colonial discourse, its foundational concepts and strategies in cultural hybridization, and the spread of other concepts such as altruism, subordination, ethnicity and others.
Its aim was to celebrate the book (The Response with the Body) by its author, A.D. Muhammad Al-Saadi, and to emphasize the risk of the colonial discourse and its aftermath.
