The research team at University Basrah handed over 300 transporting media for Corona virus produced in the laboratories of the College of Pharmacy and 600 medical swabs to the Dhi Qar Health Directorate, as part of the university’s contribution to solving the problem of unavailability of the VTM (virus transporting medium) responsible for detecting cases of Coronavirus infection. The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Falah mentioned Hassan Shri that this work is voluntary to contribute to solving the crisis of the outbreak of the epidemic and for the sake of primary prevention measures that reveal infected cases to provide ways to treat them early, and he continued: This fourth meal comes to the Dhi Qar Health Directorate due to the lack of this transport medium in all governorates of Iraq
