The faculty members of the Pharmacognosy and medicinal plants department in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah As part of the activities of the College of Pharmacy in community service, they organized a visit to the Al Ain Foundation for Orphan Care in Basrah
Assistant Professor Dr. Ola Muhammad Nour Al-Musawi, Head of the Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants department stated: We have seen the progress of work in the institution in terms of collecting funds, sponsoring orphans, the process of separating money from zakat funds, as well as how to sponsor an orphan.
Al-Moussawi added: We also met the orphans sponsored by the Foundation.
For their part, the director of the institution and his staff welcomed the visiting delegation, indicating that these visits enhance communication between the segments of society and its service.
