A workshop (the diagnosis and treatment of honey bee diseases (Nosema disease)) was held for the staff of the Basrah Agriculture Directorate by Mr. Muslim Ashour Abdul Wahid at the Plant Protection Department, College of Agriculture, University of Basrah. The workshop focused on the dangerous of this disease on bee colonies and its impact on reducing production and the necessity to conduct a comprehensive survey of bee colonies in province of Basrah. The presenter used the practical methods for diagnosing the disease.
The workshop was a part of the program Providing assistance to beekeepers in province of Basrah.
