The College of Education for Human Sciences begins its new academic year
Today, the presidency of the English Department started its new academic year in the morning and evening studies according to the weekly schedule according to ministerial instructions. The head of the English Language Department, Dr. Saad, said: “The English Language Department - College of Education - Basra University raised the state of emergency in preparation for the new academic year. Since the end of October 2020, the department began working in full swing to end the procedures for integrated e-learning for the 2020-2021 academic year, including the educational platforms recommended by the ministry, and worked to finish preparing classes on the Google Classroom platform, as well as creating fixed links For Google Meet, we are now ready to receive students on e-learning platforms, and all faculty members of the department have been involved in workshops on how to create Google Classroom classes and constant and variable links to Google Meet.
Encouraged, 76 active Google Classroom classes have been opened for the morning and evening studies, as well as 76 active links for Google Meet.
The department urged students to follow classes and enter with the explicit name, and to oblige male students to upload their personal photos, and the department will follow with absolute seriousness the work of electronic classes with teachers and students, and there is a solid plan for that. All lessons and timings have been uploaded to the university's website and on the Exam platform.
