The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, the Division of Quality Assurance and University Performance Evaluation, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held a workshop entitled .. National Institutional Accreditation Standards and Higher Education Strategy in Iraq on Thursday 1/30/2020. In which (Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abd Al-Zahra Muhammad) lectured and in the presence of a number of faculty and staff, the national institutional accreditation standards and their indicators were discussed from the strategy of educational institutions, governance, administration, development of financial and human resources, selection of faculty members, student services, scientific research and funding sources. . The lecturer also referred to the emphasis on community service and activating the role of the College of Fine Arts in Basra through its advisory offices
He also touched upon setting up new mechanisms for developing curricula in higher education and scientific research in the Ministry
