The College of Medicine of Basra University, under the patronage of the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ismail Al-Hamdi, and in cooperation with the Ibn Sina Center, held a seminar on the applications of the electronic learning platform (moodle). The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Muhammad Saleh Al-Musafer explained that the seminar aims to develop the capabilities of the teaching staff to use e-learning to improve the level of e-learning at Basra University.
There was also a discussion among the attendees, including heads of scientific branches, rapporteurs, and the lecturer (Chief Engineer Walid Bashir) regarding the obstacles facing e-learning and how to overcome them. The workshop was attended by the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ismail Al-Hamdi, the teacher, Dr. Hisham Latif Sawadi, Director of the Computer Center at the University, in addition to the assistants of the Dean, the heads of the scientific branches, and a group of faculty teachers.
