BASRA UNIVERSITY HOSTS THE MINISTRIAL NATIONAL CLASSIFICATION COMMITTEE:
Under the direct direction of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Thamir Ahmed Hamdan, the respected. The Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics hosted the Ministerial National Classification Committee for Quality to evaluate the files of quality work in the human faculties (Arts, Law, Education for Human Sciences, Education for Girls, Gourna Education, Fine Arts, Management and Economics). The aforementioned colleges and their scientific departments were evaluated according to the indicators approved by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The President of the University, upon his meeting with the members of the Ministerial Committee, the assistants of the deans for scientific affairs, the heads of the scientific departments and the directors of the Quality Division, made it clear that quality is the cornerstone and the standard of excellence in all universities, which is measured by increasing capabilities, learning skills, and diversity in scientific and educational alternatives and community service
