The thesis dealt with the study of Dr. Abdel Sabour Shaheen's efforts in phonemic studies in terms of the nature of linguistic phonology, including branches and various phonetic phenomena. The thesis concluded that Dr. Abdel-Sabour Shaheen's efforts in phonetic studies have important advantages that make him distinguished from previous scholars, and these advantages are that he was not a summary of the ancients' opinions, but rather an eliciter, an interpreter, an analyst, and a presenter of new opinions on the principles and foundations of New linguistics according to the modern phonetic lesson.
