The Internal Medicine Branch of the College of Medicine / University of Basra organized a scientific symposium on the latest developments in internal medicine diseases, with the participation of researchers and teachers from the College of Medicine. The symposium aims to discuss the latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine diseases, especially endocrine diseases and tumors, and included ten lectures with presenting rare cases in endocrine diseases and tumors, and appropriate plans were developed to treat them. A periodic meeting was proposed that includes endocrinologists and oncologists. The participants recommended the necessity of holding joint seminars and workshops between the Oncology Center in Basra and the Endocrinology and Diabetes Center in Basra to study the common complex cases between the two centers
