The Children's Branch of the College of Medicine / University of Basra, in cooperation with the Basra Health Department / the Public Health Department, and the Children's Department of the Basra Women's and Children's Hospital, organized a workshop on integrated care for the health of children and newborns. The workshop was held in the library hall of Basra Women’s and Children’s Hospital and included the main topics of the most famous and most common diseases among children. The workshop included theoretical and practical lectures that were divided into two sessions. The first session discussed diarrheal diseases in children and different age groups, while the focus in the second session was on respiratory diseases in children and for different age groups as well.
