Prof. Dr. Sattar Jabbar Al-Khafaji, a lecturer in the College of Science / Department of Geology, participated in the membership of a master's thesis discussion committee entitled (Study the Environmental impacts of Al-Zubaidiya power plant, Wasit government, Eastern Iraq) in the College of Science / University of Babylon. Where the thesis aims to study the effect of the Zubaidiyah power station on soil, water, air and plants in the areas surrounding the power station by measuring the concentrations of some gases such as CO, CO2, SO3, NO and heavy elements: Pb Cd, Ni, As, Co, Zn, Cu in air as well as measure recent concentrations in both soil, water and plant.
