The master's thesis in the Department of Arabic Language / College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Basra, researched the symbol of nature in Andalusian poetry during the era of Bani al-Ahmar, by the student (Amna Basem Abd al-Rasul al-Najjar). Found it.
The thesis included a study of three chapters. The first chapter dealt with the symbol of moving nature. It was divided into two sections, the first is the animal symbol and the second is the bird symbol. The second chapter of the study came under the title of the silent nature symbol. It was divided into two sections. The study titled “Levels of Employment of the Symbol” was divided into three sections, the first of which was titled “The Surface Level and the Deep Level of the Symbol”, while the second topic was titled “The Level of Intensification and the Level of Elusiveness”, and the third topic was titled “The Comprehensive Level of the Symbol”, and the study ended with a conclusion that summarized its most important results.
The study concluded that the poets of the Bani al-Ahmar era were interested in employing the natural manifestations in their poetry as a symbol, so they were affected by it and interacted with it, as nature, including its many manifestations, formed rich means that fed the needs of the creative poet, as it reflected nature, including the poets' visions of life and existence.
