Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi and under the supervision and support of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, A.M.Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani.
The Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra, Department of Art Education held its first art exhibitions for the academic year 2023-2024 entitled visual touches.the exhibition, which was held in the Great Exhibition Hall at the Faculty of Fine Arts, included about a hundred works executed with lead and charcoal and varied topics from portrait, still life and academic topics from reality and the Iraqi environment.
The exhibition aims to highlight the artistic products of the planning lesson, which is the result of a joint effort of the supervising professors M.Fadia Akil Jabbar, who provided the utmost care and follow-up in the management of the academic lesson and supervision of these student products from the initial stages of preparing the idea until the final stages of work .
The exhibition was opened by the head of the Department of art education M.D. Salah Naama and M.Fadia Akil and the teacher Abdul Halim Ahmed were gathered from professors and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
