The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra held a poetry festival to support their brothers in free and proud Palestine, attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ali Taha Yassin, and the college’s professors and students.
The ceremony included reciting poems that convey all the meanings of sympathy and solidarity among the Arab peoples, especially the Iraqi people who are jealous of their brothers in Palestine.
The students presented the suffering of children, women, and the elderly, and the inhumane massacres carried out by the Zionists against the Palestinian people, through documentaries showing the permissibility of the blood of a person who is killed for no reason and the forced displacement of defenseless citizens.
The ceremony concluded by chanting national slogans denouncing the Zionist occupation and turning to God Almighty by repeating supplications, for God answers prayers... death to the enemies and support for Islam... and long live a free and proud Palestine.
