Today, Sunday, 10/22/2023, College of Computer Science and Information Technology, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Imad Shaalan Jabr Al-Shawi, and Administrative Assistant, Dr. Nasser, held an important meeting with the college’s employees for the two-day procedure.
The Dean opened his speech by praising God, praising Him, and reciting the noble verse - and he consulted them about the matter -
He added by saying that although there are some differences from a legal standpoint between the types of employees, including permanent employees, contracts, and procedures, on the human and professional levels, everyone is equal, and that distinguished work, dedication to work, diligence in it, and mastery of it is what distinguishes a good employee from others, and it is Authentication of the saying of the Holy Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family - The best people are those who benefit people-
Then, the floor for discussion and dialogue was opened for the attendees, where the problems of the employees of the two-day procedure were listened to on both the professional and personal levels, as well as their suggestions about developing the college at the various administrative and scientific levels. The attendees expressed their happiness for such a meeting and also raised some problems related to the disbursement process. Their financial dues and the process of coordinating work among employees.
At the end of the meeting, recommendations came out regarding the necessity of working as one team and organized coordination in work, as directed by the Dean, and based on the official letters issued by the Presidency of the University of Basra, to amend their financial dues to be on par with their peers in the rest of the university’s colleges.
