Sponsored by the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi. The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah won third place in the final of the University President’s Cup table tennis tournament for the student team, which was held by the Student Activities Department at the University Presidency at the Bab al-Zubair colleges site in the hall of the Al-Zahra College of Medicine.
The tournament included the participation of 16 teams from the university’s colleges, with two students from each college.
Our college team included student Riyad Abdel Latif from the Department of Civil Engineering, and student Mahdi Salem from the Department of Architectural Engineering, accompanied by the trainer, Assistant Professor Dr. Nassar Ismail, and teacher Walid Muhammad.
