The Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, and his accompanying delegation, represented by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Sarmad Abdullah Abbas, the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Hassanein Ibrahim, and the Quality Assurance Officer, Dr. Ali Kamel Marzouq, visited the First Vice President, Muhammad Taher Al-Tamimi. The visit aims to activate cooperation mechanisms and build bridges of communication between the local government and the College of Engineering in a way that serves the educational process and community service
An integrated action plan was discussed to activate cooperation mechanisms in accordance with the requirements of the labor market and open future joint projects.
The Dean stated that this visit comes under the vision of the College of Engineering to open up to the labor market and market the scientific expertise in the college to advance the reality of the governorate in various fields. This visit falls within a series of visits to market the college’s products and expertise to all state institutions.
