Two female lecturers at the College of Education for Girls present a symposium on mental health
lecturers Maysaa Sabry and Sarah Jabbar from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences participated in a symposium on mental health organized by the College of Arts, Department of Philosophy.
The symposium aimed to learn about self-development and how to build self-confidence among university students, and to identify the manifestations of bullying, what its causes are, and how to get rid of it.
The first topic presented by the teacher, Maysaa Sabry, dealt with self-development, which begins from the moment a person improves his view of himself, and this in turn leads to a person being confident in himself. She stressed the importance of self-development by obtaining new opportunities that develop oneself.
The second topic, presented by teacher Sarah Jabbar, touched on the concept of bullying, which is a form of violence, abuse, and abuse practiced against an individual or group of individuals, as well as the causes of bullying and ways to address them.
