The University Committee formed to examine and follow up the electronic administrative systems in the colleges of Basra University headed by the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Salma Abdel-Baqi Mahmoud.
A field tour to visit a number of the university's colleges, which included colleges (medicine, Zahraa medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, veterinary medicine, engineering, science, education for the humanities and education for girls)
During these visits, extensive meetings were held with the deans of the colleges, and the possibilities available in their faculties in terms of working electronic systems and the infrastructure supporting them, and discussing the obstacles to electronic work and how to solve them.
The tour also included an inspection visit to the relevant divisions and units to view the field on the reality of work, to find out the nature of the problems and to find solutions to ensure the improvement of the electronic system in them.
