The Bio-Logistics Security and Safety Measures Evaluation Team visited the College of Education for Pure Sciences, which was composed of representatives from the National Oversight Authority, the Prime Minister, the Iraqi National Security Service, higher education, and scientific research.
Laboratories affiliated with the college with the aim of implementing a program to evaluate biological security and safety procedures and measures in laboratories and sites related to biological activities for the purpose of implementing the National Control Authority Law to prevent proliferation and fulfilling Iraq’s international obligations towards the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxin Weapons and developing work and raising awareness for laboratory workers in the field of risk management.
