The College of Dentistry at the University of Basra organized a scientific lecture entitled Mucoderm (3D regenerative tissue graft) mucosal lamina propria, delivered by Dr. Sari Abdul Karim Abdullah.
The lecture included a definition of myocoderm, which is an acellular collagen matrix that provides a safe alternative to autologous soft tissue transplants. It can be applied as an alternative to tissue transplants and connective tissue grafts (CTG) and in free gingival surgeries (FGG), as well as used in various operations in the field of pathology and surgery.
