Lecturer at the College of Education for Girls, member of a discussion committee on the hydrogeomorphological assessment of the crescent lakes of the Tigris River
The lecturer in the Geography Department, Dr. Muhammad Atkhaykh Al-Maliki, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, participated in a committee discussing a master’s thesis on the hydrogeomorphological assessment of the crescent lakes of the Tigris River in Wasit Governorate and ways to invest in them using modern geographical technologies.
The study aimed to know the geomorphological development of the crescent lakes of the Tigris River in Wasit Governorate, highlight the old and new changes and developments, and demonstrate the efficiency of techniques in tracking and monitoring terrestrial phenomena.
