As part of the center's weekly scientific activities, the Date Palm Research Center organized a seminar on date palm callus and its fields of use .
The seminar, which was lecturer was Professor Dr. khayun Ali Mohsen, aims to identify the callus and its areas of use .
The seminar included mentioning the fields of its use in Plant Genetic Engineering, cell selection, suspended cell cultivation, vegetative hybridization, production of natural compounds, as well as the production of artificial seeds.
