The Central Library opened its doors to receive Mr. Ammar Hussein Jawad, head of the Digital Information Center at the Abbasid Holy Shrine Library, and his accompanying delegation. They were received by Dr. Zikra Muhammad Kazem, Secretary-General of the Central Library. This visit aims to complete the digital archiving project by handing over the digital resource retrieval program with a hard disk containing 19,566 theses and dissertations were delivered to the Laser Disc Unit for the purpose of preserving the scientific production and Iraqi heritage of ancient sources for which digital copies are not available. They were converted from paper to digital and archived. It was also agreed to cooperate with the Abbasid Shrine to install a digital program for the Digital Library Unit.
