Within the cultural and scientific cooperation agreement recently signed between the University of Basra and the Iranian University of Ferdowsi, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Habib Abdul-Wahhab, head of the Student Activities Department, accompanied a delegation from Ferdowsi University, represented by Dr. Muhammad Tabatabai, Director of the Planetarium at Ferdowsi University, and Mr. Mehdi Ameri. The delegation visited the Planetarium and the General Secretariat of the Central Library and was briefed. The Theses and Dissertations Unit, the Anecdotes and Manuscripts Unit, and the Global Corner. The delegation praised the electronic services available to students and researchers on the library’s official website.
