Basrah University organizes a training course on the CAT programme.

Dr. Azhar Mahdi, a researcher at the Palm Research Centre, participated in the rapid training course held by the Marine Science Centre on the CAT programme for laboratory officials in colleges and research centres at Basrah University.
The course, in which the lecturer was Dr. Bassam Ashour Rasheed at the Marine Science Centre, aims to train laboratory officials on the use of the CAT programme used in the inventory of chemicals, tracing their origins and determining the characteristics of each substance and its risks, as well as linking colleges and centres directly with the ministry.
The workshop included a demonstration of the ease of updating the programme, addressing some technical problems, downloading data, and making it easier to purchase any chemical, withdraw it, or part of it.
