The University of Basrah honors female employees of the Palm Research Centre on the occasion of International Women's Day.

Dr. Muntaha Abdul Zahra Ati, administrator Ibtisam Kateh Obaid, and Mrs. Saleem Dawood were honored by the center as part of the central festive events held by the women's empowerment division at Basrah University on the occasion of International Women's Day under the slogan (Iraqi women are partners in sustainable development) with certificates of appreciation and valuable gifts.
The director of the division, Wafa Hassaj Al-Mayahi, said that the honors came as an initiative by the division for the ideal university women to value their efforts in serving our dear university, and all the students with special needs were honored.
The ceremony was attended by the president of the university and a gathering of deans of colleges, deputies, and officials of departments in the province of Basrah.
More than one hundred and twenty of the university's affiliates in various segments were honored by the reality of teaching, staff, and workers in appreciation of their efforts in serving the university.
