Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Asghar Muhammad Al-Nawab, the College of Nursing at the University of Basra renewed its activities
Global Entrepreneurship Week will last for a week and for the period from November 13, 2023. These celebrations will include a number of training courses, workshops, entrepreneurs’ projects, discussion circles, competitions, advisory and guidance sessions, and success stories to celebrate Entrepreneurship Week.
The first event included a panel discussion entitled Entrepreneurship Applications in Iraq. The event began with a lecture entitled The Concept of Entrepreneurship and its Applications, in which Mr. Muhammad lectured. He addressed the definitions of entrepreneurship, the specifications of the entrepreneur, and the risks to which he is exposed, in addition to the importance of small entrepreneurial projects in supporting the economy of countries and employing large numbers of graduates.
For her part, Assistant Professor Dr. Sondos Baqir Dawoud, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, said in supporting graduates and facilitating their access to job opportunities, as well as providing administrative, scientific and legal consultations for their entrepreneurial ideas.
