The administrative assistant to the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Haidar Khazal Mahbas,accompanied by the Director of Planning of the Office of Basrah Governorate, Engineer Wala Abdel Al-Karim visited the College of Medicine where they were received by the Dean of the Dean of college Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer and Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazem Baqir.
The inclusion of the projects of the University of Basrah within the regional development plan was discussed, concerning the establishment of buildings, centres, study departments and internal dormitory according to the budget laws, which will submit its plan in the coming days to the Ministry of Planning. They also discussed the addition of a laboratory building for the college of Medicine, classrooms and a parking lot, as well as the establishment of a special bridge for the college and the restoration of the old building.
