The Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a panel discussion entitled Infographic Technology and its Role in Education.
The panel discussion, in which the assistant. Lect. Nidal Nehme Abdel Qader lectured, included a focus on highlighting the role of the infographic technique, or so-called visual maps, in education, which is considered one of the modern tools in the field of education that can be adopted in teaching by university professors because it helps explain complex theories in a simplified and easy way to understand it as well as identifying its types in many fields that are appropriate to the idea and content of the topic.
The panel discussion concluded that infographic technology has great importance in the educational process by transforming all information and data that are difficult to understand into the form of images, shapes, or diagrams, thus facilitating the process of understanding them smoothly and clearly and linking the information with each other, with the possibility of using it in all fields and various educational specializations.
