The researcher Wafa Husaj Al-Miyahi, a faculty member at the Palm Research Center, participated as a member of the University of Basra delegation, led by the esteemed President of the University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shahin Hamadi, to represent the university at the Third International Scientific Conference held in the city of Samarra, under the sponsorship of the Military Shrine and the University of Kufa, with the participation of researchers from various Iraqi universities.
During the conference, the President of the University was honored by the Military Shrine as part of the conference's activities.
The conference involved a group of university researchers in linguistic, jurisprudential, literary, and Quranic studies, as well as geographic, historical, social, economic, legal, political, and Orientalist studies."
