The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized a workshop on comprehensive quality management in the Marine Science Center
Professor Dr. Hassan Khalil Hassan touched on the most important indicators of implementing comprehensive quality at the center, while Professor Dr. Abdul Karim Taher Yusser explained the mechanism of the electronic performance evaluation system. Dr. Bassam Ashour explained the most important Iraqi standards for the quality of higher education laboratories, while Dr. Raghad Shubar Jaafar explained the role and tasks of the head. The workshop recommended several decisions, including strengthening the definition of quality requirements by allocating sufficient amounts of money to purchase accreditation materials and supplies, as well as directing annual evaluation methods to suit the principles of comprehensive quality management controls, such as introducing grades for laboratory levels in the evaluation, in addition to training skilled university staff to implement the quality system.
